The Challenge

Beacon Talent had the hard part of a recruiting business working: real clients, real placements, and an outbound engine that put candidates in front of hiring managers every week. What it did not have was anything coming to it. Nobody searching for a GTM recruiter found Beacon. When a founder asked an AI assistant who to call, two competitors were named and Beacon was not. Every conversation started cold, every month started at zero, and the team knew that the firms winning around them had something arriving on its own.

The constraint was the usual one for a small firm: no time to write, no one to own a website, and no appetite to pause the outbound that paid the bills while a content plan slowly came together.

What We Did

We treated the top of the funnel as one system rather than two projects. The outbound kept running exactly as it had. Alongside it we built the inbound side from a standing start: the pages a buyer looks for, the proof a buyer checks, and the signals search engines and AI assistants need before they will name a firm.

Publishing was taken off the team's plate entirely. New pages went live on a fixed rhythm without anyone at Beacon having to write, review or click deploy, and each one arrived complete, with the structure, the answers and the author signals in place, so nothing had to be fixed later.

The conversion side was rebuilt at the same time, so that the traffic the new pages brought had somewhere to land: a booking page for clients, a screening flow for candidates, and tracking that tells the team where each request actually came from.

Throughout, we checked the same buyer questions in the AI engines after every release and kept a log. That log is what set the priorities for month two.

Key Insight: Outbound gets a firm into the conversation; inbound is what makes the conversation easy. Five weeks in, with outbound untouched: 85 live pages, 34,186 search impressions, 411 organic clicks, 28 booked-call requests and 11 candidate network submissions. The two channels now feed each other, and the team's calendar is no longer the bottleneck.
